Our client is a large banking organisation who are looking for a Senior Marketing Strategy Lead to join the business.

You will work closely with the overall Head of Marketing and take responsibility for devising a business strategy, working closely with key stakeholders across the leadership team to drive this. You will have the opportunity to shape the marketing approach whilst working with marketing managers to set budgets.

You will establish a marketing retention plan and offer advice and counsel to stakeholders across the business, being influential and driving this change in approach will be critical. You will have the opportunity to manage a small team of Senior Marketing Strategy Managers and will need to have leadership experience particularly being able to develop and mentor when required.

A firm understanding and recent work experience within the financial services space will be essential with a B2B focus.

To be considered:

  • Experience working in a Senior Marketing Strategy capacity for a large financial services organisation (B2B)
  • Experience establishing a marketing strategy
  • Offering advice and counsel across to the Senior Leadership Team
  • Work with Strategic Marketing and wider marketing teams to agree budgets and plan ahead
  • Deputising for the overall Head of Marketing, being comfortable working at board level
  • Able to build strong relationships across the business
