My client, a Tier 1 Investment Bank is looking for hire a Principal Change Analyst to join the Data & Business Architecture team to focus on the adoption of strategic reference data into Finance reporting processes and in accordance with data governance principles. The successful candidate will have previous experience working as a Business Analyst and change Management skills including requirements writing and project management.

Working within the Data Adoption work stream, you will provide business analysis and project execution across the full breadth of authoritative reference data as required by Finance to meet regulatory reporting requirements and achieve compliance with BCBS239 principles.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Providing business analysis and execution. 
  • Being closely involved in all aspects of the project delivery across the reference data classes
  • Supporting senior management requests such as ad-hoc focus on data issues support and  regulatory requests
  • Building strong relationships across Finance, Change and Administration (FC&A), Finance and Chief Data Office teams
  • Understanding and communicating new regulatory or information technology (IT) developments
  • Preparing and distributing materials into internal FC&A reporting forums
  • Organising workload within the team
  • Developing and improving the development lifecycle in partnership with other areas in FC&A and Technology

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in the Investment Banking industry
  • Understanding of regulatory and accounting drivers
  • Broad knowledge of the current key issues facing the Bank
  • Negotiation and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to identify and interpret stakeholders needs and requirements
  • Ability to handle and interrogate large data sets, performing analysis and drawing conclusions based on the data
  • Architecture and design skills
  • Experience in workflow / process re-engineering
  • Change Management skills including requirements writing and project management
  • Delivery focused, with a disciplined approach to project management
  • Strong relationship building and communication skills
  • Ability to demonstrate strong analytical skills and a proven problem-solver
  • Adept in identifying and structuring issues, running accurate analyses and synthesising recommendations
