Product Manager - Commodities Data & Analytics We work toward implementing ideas at the junction of Data, Investment, Content & News.

The Role: Product Manager - Innovation, Financial Services Risk

 

The Location: London

The Team: The Product Research and Innovation team gather intelligence from across the financial services market; including new technologies & new approaches to new regulations - to help define how they have the potential to impact on business’ within the sector. We then define product opportunities and build partnerships with internal teams and third parties to develop new products that deliver new innovations. Leveraging off unique research, big data & machine learning techniques, quantifying non-traditional data sources & risk analysis in bespoke models that help business’ manage their approach. We work toward implementing ideas at the junction of Risk, Fintech and Regulations.

The Impact: This position is the team’s European representative. You will have the opportunity to lead projects, connect with different parts of the organization, represent the European customer base in our strategy and roadmap.

Represent the Product Research and Innovation team in Europe

Responsible for product development - from idea generation, definition to execution

Regular customer interactions including conference attendance

Shape the group’s strategy

Become an expert in customer, competitor and market trends

Product thought leadership pieces

 

What We’re Looking For:

Basic Qualifications:

5 years of financial services experience

Understanding of financial markets structure

Ability to multi-task under time pressures

Product development skills

Knowledge and interest in new technologies such as AI, machine learning, signal processing & data mining techniques

Appreciation of modelling techniques

Deep sense of intellectual curiosity

Clear communication skills (to be able to clearly communicate impact/opportunity of new projects which can be technically challenging)

 

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of R, Python, Tableau

Big Data management/tools experience: Hadoop, SPSS, Teradata 

Advanced qualifications in Econometrics, Mathematics, Physics or a similar discipline
