Basic Purpose

The RFP Specialist will be based in London and reports to the London Senior RFP Specialist and works closely with the US based RFP Manager and wider RFP team. This individual will possess high initiative and have the ability to work in a strong team environment. The optimal candidate must possess prior experience; be detail oriented, have excellent communication and organisational skills and be able to handle a high volume and deadline oriented workload. This is a generalist role and you will be exposed to RFP projects relating to multiple asset classes managed by our multi-affiliate structured investment managers.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Work with the London Senior RFP Specialist to complete quarterly and ad-hoc updates relating to our range of UCITS and QIAIF funds
  • Contribute to the completion of Requests for Proposal (RFPs) Requests for Information (RFIs) and Due Diligence questionnaires across International business and US Institutional channels
  • Co-ordinate and complete surveys for the International marketing teams
  • Respond to ad-hoc, non-RFP requests for written information
  • Provide updated content to the database manager in order to ensure the RFP database (Qvidian) holds the most accurate and up-to-date information
  • Acquire a broad understanding of Eaton Vance strategies and all applicable content and data resources
  • Develop increasingly specialised knowledge of the firm’s products and an understanding of performance
  • Interact with subject matter experts to obtain specialised data or content
  • Assume other responsibilities as required

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • At least 2 years RFP experience within financial services is essential
  • Knowledge of Qvidian (or other RFP data management systems)
  • Knowledge of eVestment Alliance, Asset Logic and Factset, would be beneficial although not essential
  • Strong Microsoft Word and PowerPoint skills
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel Skills including familiarity with Pivot Tables
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Ability to work independently and within established guidelines
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Previous exposure to multiple asset classes would be beneficial
  • IMC qualification or a willingness to work towards the IMC qualification
