A leading Financial Institution, based in London, are looking for a Program Manager responsible for overseeing the business case and delivery of the Office 365 project. This person will oversee a highly complex, technically and contractually challenging, multi-year project that is one of banks flag ship initiatives. The objective being to transform their End User productivity capabilities through the enablement and consumption of hybrid cloud services based on Microsoft 0365 cloud platform.

  • For this role, you will need strong proven experience in managing and delivering successful projects in highly pressurised industries. In particular in Financial Services (both retail, investment banking and capital markets). Must have a sound understanding of the regulatory landscape as it pertains to this industry and technology. This role requires ability to run programme governance, stakeholder engagement (both internal and external), project communications (status updates, delivery progress and end user), and general project reporting in line with internal standards, reporting time lines, tooling and processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Defining the breakdown and timelines of all aspects of the project
  • Accountable for all members of the team
  • Ensure quality standards are met
  • Staying on time target and within budget

Skills Required:

  • Vast exposure to Building a stakeholder and business community
  • Experienced with managing challenging stakeholders across multiple domains
  • Experience managing 7+ workstreams
  • Experience managing £5 million+ programmes
  • Experience working in finance (ideally Investment banks)
  • Significant experience in cloud, technology and Microsoft 365
  • Good working knowledge of management frameworks
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Energised, pro-active and detail focused 
  • Must have experience in supporting complex sourcing activities including negotiations and contractual discussions
