Java Developer / Back-end Engineer required with solid understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures and algorithms.

You will join a small highly focused team with a very agile culture in London with strong interactions both within the global team and a number of business and technical stakeholders, developing and supporting a real-time trading environment.

Essential:

• Strong working experience of JVM and at least 3 years experience as Java Developer / Back-end Engineer
• Experience working with large data sets in Java
• Excellent troubleshooting skills
• Great team-working skills

Tech:

• Server-side Java, Core Libraries, Principles, etc.
• Linux
• Messaging Middleware/sockets programming
• Unix/Linux
• Scripting skills; Python
