You will be a Business Analyst / Project Manager with advanced communication, analysis and project management skills, broad technology and financial industry background.


The Chief of Staff Team is comprised of the chief of staff (CoS), divisional communications, BCP and External Outreach. The CoS team works hand in hand with the head of the division, Business Unit heads, and other senior leaders of Technology on strategic initiatives and special projects.

Similar to management consulting, the group works on diverse projects based on the division's priorities:

- Manage a wide variety of initiatives for the senior leadership of the division
- The team also develops management presentations (both internal and external to Technology)
- Manage the divisional communications strategy
- The team is responsible for representing the regional division's BCP initiatives
- The team has accountability for driving the External Outreach strategy


- Support senior management initiatives across the division
- Work on both short term, ad hoc requests as well as longer term analyses and projects
- Map out processes and develop efficiencies and improvements
- Research content for presentations - leveraging a variety of tools such as interviews, meetings, internet, internal materials
- Develop content for internal and external presentations
- Role varies by initiative and may be project management related or acting as a business analyst/execution resource to management
- Work closely with HCM, EO, Compliance, Finance and others as needed on a variety of projects
- Organise, facilitate and ultimately lead Divisional committees
- Streamline online content - EMEA Technology website, GS Connect
- Compile Weekly Federation Highlights, EMC Monthly Highlights, and Technology Monthly Highlights & Communities and Networks Monthly Spotlights
- Partner with HCM on Diversity initiatives


- Strong academic record with Master's level or equivalent required
- Significant Investment Banking Industry experience essential
- Strong knowledge of Technology and broad knowledge of and interest in Financial Services required
- Demonstrable exposure to process improvement initiatives required
- Experience of conceiving and developing Firmwide business strategies, processes and implementation required
- Must be results-oriented and pro-active with the ability to handle multiple, time-sensitive projects while focusing on the quality of work delivered
- Experience of pitching, documentation, due-diligence, data and market trend analysis required
- Strong communications skills (written and verbal) required
- Must be Highly proactive individual who demonstrates initiative and ownership and can work with little direction on complicated, sensitive assignments
- Strong presentation skills; able to put together commercial, creative presentations for management across a wide range of topics
- Strong organisational skills; ability to multi-task and work under pressure and prioritise
- Prior involvement with diversity/inclusion initiatives required
- Strong MS Office skills and familiarity with SharePoint (Graphs and PowerPoint presentations)
- Must have exceptional attention to detail and project management skills
- Strong stakeholder/ relationship management, particularly with senior individuals required
- Fast learner, ability to navigate the organization to get up to speed quickly on key topics
