The Assistant Marketing Manager will assist the marketing team in the planning and implementation of campaigns, events, projects, including communications to both new and existing customers, as required. Projects will be delivered to a high standard, on time and on budget.

This is a B2C role within the End Investor marketing division

Purpose of your role

The Assistant Marketing Manager will assist the marketing team in the planning and implementation of campaigns, events, projects, including communications to both new and existing customers, as required. Projects will be delivered to a high standard, on time and on budget.

Key Responsibilities

Development and delivery of the Marketing Approach

  • Works with the team and resources available, to develop understanding of the business and customer and how this is incorporated into effective marketing tactics as part of a larger marketing initiative.
  • Creates new or modifies existing marketing materials to meet programme or campaign requirements.

Marketing Execution / Campaign Management

  • Tactical campaign execution and campaign management, as required, to implement campaigns from concept to completion to achieve campaign targets and support delivery of business objectives.
  • Design, production and campaign management of cross-channel marketing campaigns and materials to include digital (email, display, web, video) and offline (events, direct mail, brochureware; posters; fulfilment packs) ensuring deliverables are high quality, bold and innovative - and delivered on time, on brand, on budget and meet brief.
  • Build relationships with internal stakeholders and provide value added input to projects as required
  • Build relationships with our marketing and advertising agencies to ensure work is delivered on brief and on time.
  • Ensures activities are compliant and fit with regulatory guidelines and requirements and that they are filed and processed as per the established marketing procedure.
  • Escalates issues as appropriate for assigned scope of work.
  • Performs duties as required to support strategic marketing objectives.

Marketing Strategy Results and Measurement

  • Assist with the definition of targeting and measurement to measure effectiveness
  • Campaign measurement and reporting as required.

Experience and Qualifications

Industry experience

  • Minimum two+ relevant marketing experience
  • Proven marketing experience in a regulated environment, ideally within investment management platform or wider financial services industry
  • Ability to demonstrate a good knowledge of investment products (Stocks and shares ISAs, Self-invested personal pensions (SIPPs), bonds, equities, multi-asset, investment trusts) and the retirement industry would be a distinct advantage. Skill Sets
  • Demonstrable multi-channel marketing experience across online and offline channels
  • Ability to prioritise and multi-task in a fast paced environment, resilience to pressure.
  • Excellent communication, proof reading and editing skills and a good copywriter, with a good eye for detail
  • Good influencing and communication skills to forge effective relationships with key stakeholders and third party suppliers.
  • Experience of working with external agencies and an understanding of digital, artwork and print production processes
  • Experience of dealing with compliance and understanding of regulatory impact is desirable.
  • Resourceful, a quick learner who demonstrates initiative
  • Motivated and flexible team player, a desire to succeed and a 'can-do' attitude. Qualifications
