Our client, a leader in the renewable energy sector, is seeking an Engineering Manager to oversee and drive key projects. Based in Sydney, this is a full-time, permanent role offering a competitive salary plus a car allowance.
You'll be instrumental in managing engineering operations, supporting business growth, and ensuring the successful delivery of renewable energy projects.

Your Responsibilities
As Engineering Manager, your role will include:

• Leading a team of engineers in designing, planning, and executing commercial renewable energy projects.
• Managing budgets, schedules, resources, and risks to deliver projects on time and within scope.
• Overseeing project phases, including design, procurement, installation, and grid connection.
• Developing and implementing O&M strategies and managing contracts.
• Liaising with stakeholders, contractors, and suppliers to ensure project success.
• Ensuring compliance with safety standards, regulations, and environmental requirements.
• Preparing proposals, technical documents, and cost estimates for clients.
• Providing leadership, mentoring, and guidance to engineering and support staff.

What You'll Bring
We're looking for someone with:

• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering (or equivalent) and 3+ years of experience, or 5+ years without a degree.
• Extensive knowledge of solar PV systems, O&M, and the Australian renewable energy market.
• Proven experience managing contractors, budgets, and project delivery.
• Strong communication, time management, and organisational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and document management systems.
• A technical understanding of solar farm engineering (highly regarded).
