The Associate - Fund RC will be an integral part of the Waystone team and will play a pivotal role of the team's success.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Undertake the Responsable du Contrôle des Obligations ("RC") role for UCITS and AIF structures (SIF, UCI Part II, RAIF, SCSp) (the "Funds");
- Draft, review and update Fund AML policies, risk assessments, risk appetite and reports;
- Request and review KPIs provided by the Funds transfer agent;
- Liaise with different Fund service providers;
- Manage escalations as RC of the Funds;
- Attend quarterly board meetings and present RC reports as the appointed RC of the Funds;
- Perform regulatory filings and act as contact person for AED/CSSF on behalf of the Funds;
- Contribute to various RC matters (processes, agreements, etc) and team projects;
- Perform regulatory research, monitoring and assessing impact of new AML laws/regulations;
- Assist the Board members of the Funds in relation to AML/CFT queries;
- Assist and support the RC team with other RC-related matters.

Education
- Degree in Finance or Law;
- Certification in AML/CTF rules in Luxembourg.
Experience
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience with AML/KYC focus;
- Deep knowledge of the Luxembourg regulatory environment for investment funds (both UCITS and AIF), including of the roles and responsibilities of AIFM/ManCo and fund administrators;
- Extensive knowledge of the RC role and the Luxembourg AML/KYC regulations;
- Team player, proactive, client-oriented, accurate and detail-oriented;
- Fluency in English.
