We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of a diverse portfolio of initiatives across both technology and business functions. This role is responsible for managing projects from concept through to completion, ensuring outcomes are delivered within agreed scope, budget, timelines, and quality expectations. A key requirement is proven project management experience across both systems and non-systems projects, with the ability to balance technology delivery, business transformation, operational improvements, and stakeholder outcomes. Working closely with business leaders, subject matter experts, and delivery teams, you will ensure projects are appropriately governed, risks are managed proactively, and dependencies are identified early to achieve successful outcomes. The role requires a strong understanding of project delivery methodologies, business processes, organisational change, and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of projects across both systems and non-systems initiatives.
- Develop and manage project plans, budgets, schedules, resources, risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Deliver business and technology projects within agreed governance frameworks and reporting requirements.
- Partner with stakeholders to define project objectives, requirements, deliverables, and success measures.
- Coordinate internal teams, external vendors, and business representatives to achieve project outcomes.
- Facilitate project working groups, steering committees, workshops, and stakeholder forums.
- Manage project communications and provide regular reporting on status, milestones, risks, and benefits.
- Support business process improvement and organisational change activities associated with project delivery.
- Ensure project documentation is maintained and aligned with organisational standards and governance requirements.
Key Skills & Experience
- Proven project management experience across both systems and non-systems projects.
- Demonstrated experience delivering technology implementations, business improvement initiatives, operational programs, or organisational transformation projects.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills across business and technical audiences.
- Experience managing project risks, budgets, schedules, governance, and reporting.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes in complex environments.
- Strong vendor management and cross-functional team leadership experience.
- Well-developed business analysis and requirements gathering capabilities.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft 365 and project management tools.
- Experience working within Agile, PRINCE2, PMBOK, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery environments.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Business, Project Management, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Project Management certification such as PRINCE2, PMP, Agile, Scrum, or equivalent is highly regarded.
