Senior Accountant | Sydney CBD | $115,000 - $135,000 + Super
We are partnering with a privately owned business to recruit a Senior Accountant.
This is a broad and varied position supporting a diverse portfolio. You'll play a key role in the day-to-day finance function while gaining exposure to projects, process improvements and wider commercial operations. It's an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys variety.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare month-end accounts, journals and balance sheet reconciliations
- Produce weekly and monthly financial reporting and cash flow reporting
- Prepare BAS, IAS and other compliance requirements
- Manage accounts payable, supplier payments and bank reconciliations
- Maintain the fixed asset register and general ledger accuracy
- Reconcile intercompany accounts, loan balances and development costs
- Process fortnightly payroll
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and contribute to upcoming business initiatives
About You
- Previous experience as an all rounder Accountant
- CA/CPA qualified
- Strong financial and management accounting experience across a broad finance function
- Confident building relationships with stakeholders across the business
