Your new role
Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely end-to-end payroll services to a large employee workforce.Your responsibilities will include:
- End-to-end payroll processing
- New starter onboarding and employee setup
- Processing employment changes and payroll data updates
- Leave administration and entitlement calculations
- Processing payroll terminations
- Workers compensation and payroll-related adjustments
- Salary packaging administration
- Maintenance of employee masterfile data
- Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, awards and employment conditions
- Responding to payroll enquiries and providing high-quality customer service
- Supporting audit requirements and payroll reporting activities
- Demonstrated experience in end-to-end payroll processing
- Strong understanding of Australian payroll legislation and employment conditions
- Experience interpreting Awards, Enterprise Agreements and employment contracts
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong customer service and stakeholder engagement skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work to strict deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Payroll system experience, including large ERP or payroll platforms
