This is an opportunity to join a leading private wealth management firm with a strong presence in the Australian market. The business works with high net worth and ultra-high net worth clients, family offices and purpose-driven organisations, providing tailored advice, sophisticated portfolios and access to global investment solutions.
The firm is continuing to grow and is now seeking one Melbourne-based Associate to join an established Adviser team.
Your new role
This is a Melbourne-based Associate position supporting experienced Investment Advisers with high-touch client service and day-to-day portfolio support. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting experienced advisers with meeting preparation, follow-up actions, proposals, pitch documents and review packs
- Assisting with client onboarding, account opening, ongoing account maintenance and portfolio administration.
- Managing settlement obligations including funds and securities due, cash and asset transfers, margin calls, corporate actions, quote requests, IPOs and placements
- Working closely with clients, advisers and internal teams, including Operations, Investment Solutions, Financial Planning and Wealth Management
- Coordinating cash and stock transfers, corporate actions and international trading execution
- Assisting with client queries, routine account issues and documentation updates, with a strong focus on service and accuracy
- Proactively managing annual reviews, risk profile renewals and expiring documentation
- Maintaining client records and files accurately across internal systems
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have experience in private wealth management, stockbroking, investment advice support, investment operations or a similar financial services environment.
The role may also suit someone with strong financial services, corporate, professional services or investment operations experience who is looking to build a long-term career in private wealth.
- Experience in private wealth management, stockbroking, investment advice support or a similar financial services role
- Ideally 1 to 3 years of relevant financial services or corporate experience

- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- The ability to prioritise work in a fast-paced and client-focused environment
- A resourceful, self-starting approach with a strong focus on compliance and service standards
- Experience with AML/KYC, client onboarding or account maintenance, which would be highly regarded
- RG146, which is desirable but not essential, with the expectation it can be obtained if not already held

- A permanent opportunity with an established private wealth firm
- Competitive salary package, aligned to experience
- Annual Associate bonus opportunity
- Exposure to HNW and UHNW clients, family offices and a high-quality advisory environment
