Position Description
We are seeking an experienced Wealth Management professional to lead a comprehensive optimization and streamlining of our business across the entire value chain, from front office to operations to technology. The ideal candidate will bring deep industry expertise, a global perspective, and a proven track record of delivering transformation within an international wealth management environment.
Key Areas of Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end review, redesign, and optimization of wealth management processes, from client-facing activities to operational workflows and IT systems, ensuring clear handoffs across Front Office/Middle Office/Back Office
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance client experience, improve operational efficiency, and strengthen platform capabilities.
- Partner with senior leadership to define the transformation roadmap, business priorities, and key performance indicators.
- Collaborate across front office, middle office, back office, and technology teams to ensure seamless integration of changes.
- Identify, evaluate, and implement technology solutions to support business goals.
- Oversee change management initiatives to drive adoption of new systems and processes.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and industry standards across all processes.
- Monitor performance metrics and continuously improve business operations post-implementation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree of above in business/finance, MBA will be a plus
- Minimum 8 years of experience in Wealth Management, ideally in an international or multi-market setting.
- Demonstrated expertise in Wealth Management business operating processes (onboarding/KYC, account maintenance, middle‑office controls, settlements, custody) and operating‑risk awareness.
- Proven track record of leading transformation or large-scale process improvement initiatives in the sector.
- Experience driving digital acceleration and platform modernization initiatives in WM, including workflow automation, digital client experience enhancement, and technology‑enabled process transformation.
- Strong understanding of front office, operations, and technology platforms in wealth management.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams to deliver complex projects on time and within budget.
- Experience working closely with IT on system design, architecture discussions, vendor selection, and technology delivery
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to think strategically while managing detailed project execution.
- Familiarity with industry regulations, compliance requirements, and risk management practices.
- Exposure to multiple geographies and markets
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent command of both English and Mandarin, Cantonese will be a plus
- Candidates with more experience will be considered for a more senior position
