Data Analyst - Agency Platform / Insurance - 50k to 70k

I am currently helping our Client seeking a Data Analyst to join the team in Hong Kong.

Your role

• Strategic Data Analysis & Insight.
• Lead advanced analysis of complex insurance datasets using sophisticated statistical and machine learning techniques to uncover actionable insights, support strategic decision-making, and influence organizational direction.
• Executive Reporting & Visualization.
• Design and deliver high-impact reports and dashboards tailored for executive stakeholders, translating complex data findings into strategic narratives and business implications.
• Drive enhancements in data architecture, oversee database management systems, and ensure scalable, secure, and accessible data infrastructure to meet analytical and operational demands.
• Advanced Predictive Modelling & Risk Analytics.
• Lead the development of sophisticated predictive models for insurance trends, risk assessment, and pricing strategies, leveraging machine learning techniques to optimize underwriting and claims processes.
• Performance & KPI Optimization.
• Monitor and interpret key performance indicators (KPIs), identifying opportunities for process improvements, cost efficiencies, and enhanced operational performance.

Should have

• 4+ years of progressive experience in data analysis, data science, or analytics leadership within the insurance industry or related fields.
• Expertise in SQL, Python, R, or similar analytical tools, with a foundation in statistical modelling and machine learning.
• Deep understanding of insurance metrics, risk assessment, and key business drivers.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing enterprise-level data visualization solutions using Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent tools.
