The Role

VP, Valuation Control, Financial Management

Key Accountabilities

• Manages valuation control area and is responsible for valuation control tasks for BOCI group, including setting up and managing the valuation method and process, and coordination of valuation result confirmation;
• Formulate valuation control and other relevant policies for BOCI group;
• Handle hedge accounting and audit required documentation;
• Coordinate feedback on new product/new business proposal;
• Support Head Office audit work on product valuation control;
• Other tasks assigned by supervisors.

Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree majoring in Accounting, Finance or related field, or education above;
• CPA/CFA/FRM qualification;
• Minimum 7 years of valuation control or product control experience in Investment Bank or financial institutions;
• Candidates with over 2 years of full time working experience in Hong Kong or overseas is considered as an advantage;
• Strong business analysis skills;
• Details oriented and good communication skills;
• Proficient in Sophis and VBA.
