About the Team

This position is required to support the Debit & Pre-Paid / International Issuing Hub (IIH) Migration Program . The role will be instrumental in establishing the AWS-based IIH platform and enabling the delivery of revenue-generating change requests for the newly established Debit & Pre-Paid (D&PP)/IIH environment.

The successful candidate will play a key role in:

• Building and configuring the AWS-based IIH/Episode6 platform to support onboarding of strategic clients.
• Supporting card migration initiatives from the existing Debit & Pre-Paid platform to the IIH/Episode6 AWS platform.
• Ensuring PCI compliance, supporting audit requirements, and implementing security remediation activities to address application and infrastructure vulnerabilities in line with internal compliance standards.

What You Will Be Doing

• Design, build, and maintain cloud-native payment solutions on AWS.
• Configure and enhance the International Issuing Hub (IIH)/Episode6 platform.
• Support strategic client onboarding and implementation activities.
• Execute and support card migration programs from legacy platforms to the AWS-based issuing ecosystem.
• Develop scalable services and APIs using TypeScript and Python.
• Collaborate closely with architecture, integration, and business stakeholders to deliver platform capabilities.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
• Drive DevOps best practices across development, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub, Bitbucket, and Harness.
• Ensure platform security, PCI compliance, audit readiness, and vulnerability remediation.
• Contribute as a techno-functional SME within Payments and Cards domain initiatives.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot to enhance engineering productivity and quality.

What You Bring :

• Overall experience of minimum 8+ years
• Strong Payments and Cards domain expertise with techno-functional experience.
• Experience working directly with clients and business stakeholders.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services including:
  
  • AWS Lambda
  • API Gateway
  • IAM
  • DynamoDB
  • Kafka
• Strong software development experience utilizing:
  
  • TypeScript
  • Python
• Hands-on DevOps delivery experience.
• Expertise implementing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Experience with:
  
  • GitHub (Repositories, Actions, Runners)
  • Bitbucket
  • Harness CI/CD
  • Jira
• Strong understanding of machine-to-machine authentication and authorization using OAuth2.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines in a collaborative team environment.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience collaborating with architecture and integration teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Episode6 or similar issuing/payment platforms.
• Experience delivering card migration programs.
• Exposure to PCI-regulated environments.
• Experience using AI coding tools, including GitHub Copilot, in a specification-driven development environment.
