We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Property Management Accountant / Block Management Accountant to join an established Property Management Accounts team managing a substantial portfolio of Irish properties. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounts professional with experience in property accounting, service charges, OMC accounting or property management finance.




Key Responsibilities

• Manage service charge accounting across a portfolio of owner managed properties.


• Prepare annual service charge budgets and monitor expenditure.


• Complete monthly reconciliations and year-end service charge accounts.


• Manage accounts payable and receivable, including supplier payments and refunds.


• Monitor service charge collections, aged debtors and arrears.


• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reporting packs.


• Prepare audit files and liaise with external auditors.


• Produce budget-versus-actual analysis and investigate variances.


• Maintain accurate property and accounting records.


• Work closely with Property Managers, clients, suppliers and other stakeholders.


• Identify opportunities for process and system improvements.

Requirements

• 3+ years' experience in property accounting, property management finance, service charge or OMC accounting.


• MRI Qube experience is essential.


• ACCA/ACA/CPA/CIMA or equivalent qualification


• Strong knowledge of reconciliations, management accounts and financial reporting.


• Excellent Excel skills.


• Strong organisational and communication skills.


• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.


• Ability to manage multiple portfolios and competing deadlines.


• Professional, proactive and client-focused approach.
