Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Develop relationships with customer account teams, including key buyers and decision-makers.
- Support progress meetings, fact-finding conversations, and exploratory discussions that identify growth opportunities.
- Analyze business and operational performance to recommend optimization opportunities.
- Recommend products, services, and insights that address customer needs.
- Communicate customer business issues through appropriate internal channels.
- Support service delivery for active accounts and communicate technical or operational impacts.
- Build working knowledge of products, technologies, offerings, competitors, and customer industries.
- Prepare value propositions, case studies, business-case components, and cost, benefit, and risk analyses.
- Identify stakeholders and engage them in account decisions and strategies.
- Develop knowledge of financial data, standard contract terms, and contract negotiation processes.
- Partner with Legal and other internal teams when contract terms require review or modification.
- Share best practices across teams and regions while supporting execution of account strategies.
Experience and Qualifications
Required
- Two or more years of relevant experience with a bachelor's degree, or zero to two years of relevant experience with a master's degree.
- Bachelor's degree in business, sales, marketing, hospitality, or a related technical field; or equivalent related professional experience.
- Proficiency in English and the applicable local market language, where required.
- Experience or foundational knowledge in sales techniques, portfolio management, relationship account management, upselling, and cross-selling.
- Proficient communication skills, including the ability to exchange nuanced information and build consensus.
- Ability to analyze customer needs, communicate recommendations, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work both collaboratively and autonomously while seeking guidance when appropriate.
Preferred
- Experience in account management, customer success, sales, travel, technology, or a related industry.
- Familiarity with B2B partnerships, digital platforms, marketplace businesses, or travel distribution.
- Experience with commercial negotiations, financial analysis, competitive research, or customer presentations.
- Knowledge of Expedia Group products, services, or partner solutions.
The total cash range for this position in Dublin is €58,500.00 to €82,000.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to €93,500.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.
Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual's knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
