Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Android applications using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
• Collaborate with cross-functional Agile/Scrum teams throughout the complete mobile software development lifecycle.
• Develop scalable applications using MVVM with Clean Architecture and integrate backend services through RESTful APIs using Retrofit.
• Write comprehensive unit tests, conduct peer code reviews, and continuously improve application quality, performance, and reliability.
• Work closely with stakeholders and engineering teams to deliver innovative mobile features that enhance the user experience.

Required Skills and Qualifications Experience:

• 5+ years of software development experience, including extensive hands-on Android application development.
• Proven experience publishing at least one original Android application on the Google Play Store.
• Strong experience with Android SDK, Kotlin, Git, Retrofit, third-party libraries, and backend API integration.

Soft Skills:

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with strong attention to application quality and performance.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural team environment.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and capable of managing multiple priorities while working independently.

Language Requirements:

• Japanese: Basic level
• English: Intermediate to Business level

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with cloud messaging APIs, push notifications, and Android design principles.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipeline implementation and maintenance.
• Previous experience in project management or technical team leadership.
