Job Description

Chubb Netherlands is seeking an experienced Financial Institutions Leader to drive the strategic development and performance of its Financial Institutions portfolio across the Benelux region. This senior role will be reporting directly to the Financial Lines Manager.

The Role

As a Financial Institutions Leader, you will be responsible for shaping and executing the segment strategy across key regional markets, ensuring sustainable growth, strong underwriting discipline and exceptional client engagement. You will act as a senior point of contact for major clients and brokers, contributing to the broader Financial Lines agenda at both regional and global levels.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and deliver the Financial Institutions strategy aligned with regional and global priorities
• Manage and grow a diversified portfolio across banks, insurers and asset manager clients
• Strengthen relationships with key brokers and clients at a senior level
• Ensure disciplined underwriting, portfolio profitability and risk management
• Lead and develop a team of underwriters and specialists, fostering a high-performance culture
• Collaborate closely with global stakeholders to leverage expertise and drive consistency and profitable growth across markets

Qualifications

Your Profile

• Extensive experience within Financial Institutions underwriting or a related field (banking, insurance, asset management)
• Solid understanding of Financial Lines products and market dynamics
• Demonstrated leadership capability, with experience managing and developing teams
• Strong commercial and strategic mindset, with a consistent track record of delivery
• Credibility and presence to engage effectively with senior stakeholders
