ROLE OVERVIEW

PURPOSE OF JOB

This role sits within the global Group Human Resources team and provides a dedicated business partnering HR service to the business.

The HR Business Partner is the designated HR contact for Poland, while also supporting other European jurisdictions within the Group. The role supports the Directors and their management teams in achieving business goals through effective people management, strong senior-level partnering relationships, HR representation in management meetings where appropriate, and delivery of HR strategies aligned to divisional and Group objectives.

The role is responsible for reviewing jurisdictionalpolicies, procedures and handbooks, ensuring consistency and best practice, andproviding expert advice on employee relations, performance, people-relatedrisk, payroll, benefits and HR administration.

The role acts as the subject matter expert for Poland andcombines having had experience in operational delivery, including payroll,benefits and HR administration, but with a primary focus on advisory support tomanagers on employee relations, performance and people-related risk.

The role currently has no line management responsibilitiesand is a stand-alone role in Poland.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

HR ADVISORY AND BUSINESS SUPPORT
  • Partner with Directorsand the management team to translate business strategy into HR priorities andactionable goals. The role focuses primarily on Poland, supports other Europeanjurisdictions, and partners with HR Business Partners in other jurisdictions.
  • Assist the business withorganisational design, restructuring and organisational change. Contribute toeffective workforce planning and proactively work with the Group ResourcingSpecialist to manage recruitment, resourcing and hiring activity, ensuring JTCattracts the best talent in a cost-effective way and in line with mandatoryrecruitment and assessment requirements.
  • Work in partnership withDirectors to identify top talent within the business and align development,reward and recognition activity for these individuals. Develop robustsuccession plans for the division and jurisdiction in partnership with JTCAcademy.
  • Support the delivery ofongoing business performance improvements and ensure that HR interventionsreinforce JTC's brand, high-performance culture and commercial focus.
  • Develop close workingrelationships with business area Directors and Managers as required, providingadvice on HR procedure and policy matters and developing solutions orrecommendations to meet business priorities.
  • Maintain detailedawareness of regulatory and offshore requirements and Group strategies toensure that appropriate HR policies are in place and applied consistently.
  • Provide specialist adviceand guidance in relation to the interpretation and/or application of HRpolicies and procedures and/or statutory requirements.
  • Advise and coach managerson JTC's reward framework, policies and principles, including roles and levels,promotion, career pathways, and the application of the compensation andbenefits strategy, including shared ownership.
  • Provide continuousfeedback to leadership and other areas of HR on a range of business and HRmatters, including informal and formal reporting requirements.

EMPLOYEE RELATIONS
  • Act as the subject matterexpert on employment legislation in Poland to support JTC's compliance withlocal jurisdictional requirements and produce quarterly updates on upcominglegislative changes in the jurisdiction.
  • Provide guidance to otherHR team members on employee relations matters, ensuring adherence tolegislation and best practice in areas including, but not limited to,discrimination, GDPR, equal opportunities, disciplinary, grievance andcapability matters.
  • Provide advice andguidance to managers on employee relations matters, including disciplinary andgrievance processes, absence management, performance management andterminations.
  • Support and lead employeerelations cases, with oversight and approval from the HR Business Partner, toensure fair, consistent and legally compliant outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance withall duties and responsibilities associated with staff delegation or employeeunion if applicable.
  • Mitigate risk bymaintaining robust documentation and ensuring adherence to agreed processes.
  • Promote a positiveemployee relations culture across the organisation.

POLICIES, PROCESSES AND HANDBOOKS (GROUP)

  • Ensure HR policies, procedures and handbooks for the jurisdiction are reviewed and updated regularly, at least annually, or in line with legislation and best practice.
  • Establish new policies, procedures and handbooks in new jurisdictions as part of acquisitions or organic business growth, and share knowledge of new jurisdictional legislation, policies and procedures with the wider HR team.

GENERAL HR TEAM
  • Conduct exit interviewsand identify and report trends or patterns to the Group.
  • Research, manage andimplement successful delivery of assigned HR activities, projects and taskswithin agreed timelines, including activities which support the Performance andReward cycle and Learning and Development initiatives.
  • Undertake assignedproject work as may be required.
  • Actively contribute as akey member of a multi-jurisdictional HR team, building effective workingrelationships to ensure procedures are followed accurately and continuity ofservice is maintained during busy periods or absences.
  • Uphold the professionalstandards expected of an HR practitioner and act as a role model of excellencewith all clients, internally and externally.
  • Maintain the higheststandard of confidentiality and security in terms of employee data and businessinformation and consider the impact of GDPR on all activities undertaken.
  • Maintain accuracy whenhandling data and ensure the integrity of processes. Follow four-eye checkprotocols, complete required checklists fully, and support HR colleagues whorequire assistance with four-eye checks.
  • Contribute to the widerHR team, supporting ad hoc projects, exchanging knowledge and supportingstandards of good practice.
  • Develop personalcapability and maintain up-to-date knowledge in the relevant field.
  • Consistently demonstrateJTC core values and expected behaviours.
  • Any other duties asdeemed necessary.

HR OPERATIONS AND EMPLOYEE LIFECYCLE
  • Working with the HROperations team to maintain accurate and compliant employee records and HRsystems, including responsibility for maintaining statutory and regulatoryrecords in the relevant portals or sites for Poland, such as ZUS.
  • Working with theResourcing and HR Operations teams to deliver end-to-end HR support acrossrecruitment, onboarding, the employee lifecycle and offboarding.

PAYROLL AND BENEFITS ADMINISTRATION
  • Work closely with thepayroll team to ensure payroll is accurate and processed on time.
  • Liaise with payrollproviders when requested to support compliance with local tax and statutorydeduction requirements.
  • Work with the globalbenefits team to support and advise on employee benefits, including pensions,healthcare, insurance and leave schemes.
  • Support annual benefitsrenewals and salary review processes.

STATUTORY COMPLIANCE AND RISK MANAGEMENT
  • Ensure compliance withlocal employment laws, regulations and statutory obligations, includingcontracts, working time, leave and termination requirements.
  • Maintain statutory andregulatory records in the relevant portals or sites for Poland, such as ZUS.
  • Support audits,regulatory reporting and statutory submissions.
  • Maintain up-to-dateknowledge of employment law developments across relevant jurisdictions.
  • Ensure HR practicesremain aligned with company policy and legal requirements.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Degree in HumanResources, Business or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • CIPD qualification, orequivalent professional qualification, is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge ofPolish employment law and statutory requirements.
  • Proven experience as anHR Generalist, HR Partitioner or HR Business Partner.
  • Demonstrable experiencein payroll and benefits administration, employee relations case management, andHR operations across the employee lifecycle.
  • Experience working withina regulated or multi-jurisdiction environment is desirable.
  • Professional, clear andconcise communication skills.
  • Fluency in Polish andEnglish.
  • High levels of integrity,discretion and confidentiality.
  • Ability to managemultiple priorities and work both independently and collaboratively.

The expected minimum salary for this position is 160,000 PLN, based on experience and qualifications.
