Key Responsibilities

1. Conduct 2nd-level review and QA of KYC/CDD/EDD for corporate, individual and FI clients, including complex fund/trust structures.
2. Review transaction monitoring and trade activity, assessing unusual/suspicious activity and escalation.
3. Partner with Front Office to resolve KYC/AML issues and ensure consistent regulatory and policy application.
4. Analyse QA findings to identify recurring issues, root causes, thematic risks and process improvements.
5. Review CDD risk-rating, transaction-monitoring and name-screening parameters/thresholds.
6. Support Enterprise-Wide AML/CFT Risk Assessment, FATCA/CRS reporting and sanctions updates.
7. Perform MAS regulatory gap analysis and support policy/procedure enhancements.
8. Prepare monthly/quarterly AML reports and management/Head Office reporting.
9. Support AML investigations, STRs, audits, system enhancements and ad-hoc AML projects.
10. Deliver AML/KYC and transaction-monitoring training to staff.
11. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of AML/CFT, sanctions, regulatory requirements, typologies and emerging risks.

Requirements

1. 5–7+ years’ financial services experience, including 5+ years in KYC/CDD reviews, ideally covering corporate, trust/fund structures, transaction monitoring and investigations.
2. Strong knowledge of MAS Notice 626, AML/CFT regulations, sanctions and investigation practices.
3. ACAMS/ICA certification preferred.
4. Strong analytical and investigative skills, with excellent written and verbal communication.
5. Good stakeholder and people-management skills.
6. Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables); project management experience required.
7. Data analytics / Python / coding knowledge is an advantage.
