I’m currently working with a fast-growing US-based AI infrastructure scale-up operating at the forefront of AI and cutting-edge technology. With strong product-market fit and established partnerships with reputable clients worldwide already using its platform, the company is building high-performance search and data infrastructure for next-generation AI applications.

This is an excellent opportunity to join an elite engineering team in Singapore, take full ownership from day one and help build core technology from the ground up. Having supported the company in establishing its Singapore team, we are now looking for exceptional Software Engineers across backend infrastructure and large-scale web crawling.

The Opportunity

Depending on your experience, you may:

1. Build high-throughput, low-latency backend systems
2. Develop large-scale web-crawling and data-ingestion infrastructure
3. Optimise distributed systems processing billions of documents
4. Take ownership of core technology and build it from the ground up

What They’re Looking For

1. Over 4 years of strong software engineering experience
2. Hands-on expertise with C++, Rust or another high-performance language
3. Experience building performance-critical, distributed or large-scale systems
4. Strong knowledge of concurrency, networking, systems optimisation or data infrastructure
5. Experience in low-latency trading or HFT environments would be highly relevant

Candidates from HFT, proprietary trading, big tech, AI infrastructure, search, databases, cloud platforms, cybersecurity or other performance-focused engineering environments are encouraged to apply.

Nice to Have

1. Strong infrastructure experience, particularly with Kubernetes
2. Experience building web-crawling or large-scale data-ingestion systems
3. Previous experience in a fast-paced start-up or scale-up environment
4. Exposure to browser technologies, TypeScript or Playwright
