Infrastructure Engineer
Introduction
Company cultures & job summary
Our client is a well-established IT Technology Company operating in the defence and government space - the kind of place where the work genuinely matters and the environments you'll be looking after are anything but ordinary. They work with some serious clients, and that means the bar is high - but so is the opportunity to do meaningful, technically challenging work every single day. The team is a mix of experienced engineers across multiple seniority levels, and they're looking to strengthen that bench with Infrastructure Engineers who can hit the ground running, contribute technically, and help bring others along with them.
Whether you're a solid mid-level engineer ready to step up or a seasoned hand who's led project deliveries before, there's a place for you here.
To be considered, you'll need a strong background across infrastructure disciplines - think virtualisation (VMware or Hyper-V), system administration across Microsoft and Linux, networking across Cisco or Juniper kit, and automation using tools like Ansible, PowerShell or Python. Cloud experience with Azure is a real plus, and you'll need to be comfortable monitoring environments and responding quickly when things go wrong.
MOD DV clearance is an absolute must for this one.
