A leading international bank is seeking a Financial Institutions Relationship Manager to join its London team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious banking professional to manage and develop relationships across a diverse portfolio of non-bank financial institutions (NBFIs), while contributing to the growth of an established global franchise.

The Opportunity
You'll be responsible for developing and strengthening relationships with institutional clients including:

• Asset Managers
• Insurance Companies
• Pension Funds
• Sovereign Wealth Funds
• Central Banks
• Securities Firms
• Financial Market Infrastructures
  
  Working closely with product specialists across Treasury, Transaction Banking and Capital Markets, you'll identify client needs, deliver tailored banking solutions and drive revenue growth across a portfolio of strategic relationships.
  
  Key Responsibilities
  
• Develop and expand relationships with institutional clients across London and Europe
• Identify new business opportunities and acquire new FI/NBFI clients
• Manage and grow an existing portfolio of financial institution relationships
• Promote a broad range of banking solutions including deposits, lending, FX, cash management, trade finance and capital markets products
• Understand clients' funding, liquidity and strategic requirements to deliver tailored solutions
• Prepare credit applications and support the management of client credit exposures
• Work closely with Compliance and Client Onboarding teams on KYC and due diligence requirements
• Monitor portfolio performance, profitability and risk metrics
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to maximise cross-selling opportunities
  
  About You
  
• 5+ years' experience within Financial Institutions, Corporate Banking, Relationship Management, Business Development or Credit Analysis
• Strong understanding of wholesale banking products and services
• Experience covering financial institutions such as asset managers, insurers, pension funds or broker-dealers
• Knowledge of credit analysis, client risk assessment and financial statement analysis
• Understanding of KYC, AML and regulatory requirements
• Strong relationship management, communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Commercially minded with a proven ability to develop client relationships and generate business opportunities
