We are recruiting for an
Operational Controls Oversight Analyst to join our
Controls Oversight & Assurance team within the COO function. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys using data, insight and strong stakeholder relationships to improve governance, strengthen controls and help teams deliver great outcomes. Reporting into the
Head of Controls Oversight & Assurance , you will play a key role in supporting and enhancing Aviva Investors' global first line risk and controls framework.

Whether it's optimising key processes, managing relationships with strategic partners, launching innovative new products, or onboarding clients seamlessly, every project is an opportunity to drive efficiency and innovation at scale.
A bit about the role:
As an Operational Controls Analyst, you will work closely with colleagues across Aviva Investors to support a strong and effective controls environment. You will use data and management information to provide insights, help monitor risks and controls, support governance activities, and contribute to ongoing process improvements. In this role, you will build relationships with a variety of stakeholders, help track and resolve issues, and play a key role in ensuring high-quality reporting and data.
As an Operational Controls Analyst, you will also have the opportunity to contribute to initiatives that improve the way we work, including the use of new technologies and GenAI solutions to enhance processes, increase efficiency and deliver better outcomes. This role offers excellent exposure across multiple business areas, with opportunities to broaden your experience and develop transferable skills that can open doors to future career opportunities across Aviva Investors.
Skills and experience we're looking for:
- Experience working within a regulated environment, with exposure to risk, controls, governance, compliance, audit, operations, business management or a related discipline. Asset management experience is beneficial but not essential.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends and produce meaningful management information (MI).
- A passion for continuous improvement and an interest in finding smarter ways of working, including the use of technology and GenAI solutions.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the confidence to work collaboratively with stakeholders across different teams and levels of seniority.
- Well organised and able to manage competing priorities, delivering high-quality outcomes while maintaining attention to detail.
