Join us as a Customer Service & Operations Analyst, Trade Operations

  • This is an opportunity to play a key role within Trade Operations, supporting customers, sales and internal stakeholders to deliver safe, efficient and high-quality Trade services
  • You'll work in a fast-paced, customer-facing operational environment, where you'll manage workflow, apply policy and regulatory requirements, and actively contribute to improving customer journeys and operational processes
  • You'll also build strong relationships with stakeholders across operations, sales, and product and technology to help identify opportunities and support change
  • Our team operates within a hybrid working model, which means you'll work from home some of the time, but you'll also work from our Manchester office on a weekly basis to collaborate with your colleagues
  • You'll also be required to work from the office on a full time basis for a period of initial training

What you'll do

In this role you'll support Trade Finance operations by processing transactions end to end in line with procedures, controls and service standards, and by engaging with customers and key stakeholders to progress transactions and deliver strong customer outcomes.

You'll also be:

  • Managing workflow, priorities and capacity within a Trade processing area
  • Completing Trade and financial crime checks, escalating exceptions as required
  • Responding to customer and colleague queries, including support on Trade platforms
  • Supporting delivery and change alongside operations, product and technology
  • Identifying and driving improvements to processes, controls and service delivery
  • Using systems effectively and maintaining accurate operational records

The skills you'll need

To be successful in this role, you'll perform well under pressure and be confident managing multiple tasks while maintaining high levels of accuracy. You'll demonstrate strong attention to detail, adaptability and the ability to quickly learn and use new technology.

You'll also need:

  • A sound understanding of Trade Finance products and processes
  • Strong stakeholder interaction skills and confident customer engagement
  • The ability to execute and clearly explain complex processes
  • A continuous improvement mindset, focused on customer journeys and efficiency
  • The ability to manage workflow and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • The ability to apply policy and regulatory requirements to support safe outcomes
