Key Responsibilities

Serve as the lead legal advisor for commercial and operational matters across U.S. and Canadian business operations.
Draft, review, negotiate, and manage a broad range of commercial agreements, including supply, purchase and sale, service, consulting, confidentiality, and joint venture agreements.
Partner closely with business leaders and operational teams to provide practical legal guidance while balancing commercial objectives and risk management.
Support strategic transactions, business development initiatives, and complex operational projects in collaboration with internal stakeholders and external counsel.
Advise on legal and regulatory matters impacting day-to-day operations throughout the U.S. and Canada.
Conduct legal research and provide business-focused recommendations on contracting, regulatory, and operational issues.
Enhance contracting processes, templates, and workflows to improve efficiency and consistency across the organization.
Assist with corporate governance, subsidiary management, and broader compliance initiatives.

What They're Looking For

J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership (Colorado admission preferred or ability to obtain licensure).
2-5 years of legal experience, either in-house or at a law firm.
Strong background in commercial contracts, negotiations, transactional work, and business counseling.
Experience supporting operational and commercial teams in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to provide practical, business-oriented legal advice to non-legal stakeholders.
