We have a short-term need for Sr. Construction Manager with Project Management support in Fort Scott, KS (1.5 hours south of KC). We would prefer a CM who has experience working in plants (chemical processing). Client is installing a new blending area within an existing building.. Scope:

• Act on behalf of client in a Project Management and Construction Management role for small projects
  • Follow client capital work process and generate documentation required for AFE submittal
• Support scope development
  • Support from client internal engineering, or third party, as needed
• Manage project budget and schedules
• Track deliveries of equipment
• Coordinate construction with contractors Optional Scope:
• Submit projects in client AFE system
• Create purchase requisitions
• Manage purchase orders, and invoicing. Must have these 4 key items:
• Effective communication, organization, and documentation
• Knowledge/experience of chemical blending facilities and equipment (tanks, pumps, agitators, etc.)
• Ability to read and redline drawing packages including civil, structural, process, and electrical
• Proficient in the following: MS Outlook (Office, Excel, Word, etc.), SAP (a plus but not necessary) they will be putting new eqipment into a chemical processing facility tanks boilers etc. 6 month contract pay up to 90 an hour per diem available if outside the area
