Own and modernise critical trade operations infrastructure, driving reconciliation, clearing, regulatory reporting, data integrity, automation, and resilient technology across complex financial systems and global teams.
What You'll Do:
- Take ownership of the technology infrastructure behind critical trade operations. You’ll work across reconciliation, clearing, managed-account operations, regulatory reporting, databases, ETL pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and deployment environments.
- You’ll inherit an established but diverse technology landscape and play a key role in stabilising, documenting, automating, and continuously improving the systems that support trading operations and business growth.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Build and maintain reconciliation processes across multiple brokers, formats, and operational workflows.
- Detect, investigate, and resolve trade breaks and discrepancies.
- Support clearing operations across futures, equities, and FX.
- Manage monthly rebalancing, allocations, and fee calculations for managed accounts.
- Maintain data integrity across positions, trades, fees, and allocations in PostgreSQL.
- Develop and maintain regulatory reporting processes, including market-specific requirements and tagging.
- Generate and deliver NAV files to fund administrators.
- Build and support ETL pipelines spanning FTP, S3, Kafka, and batch processing.
- Develop monitoring, alerting, debugging, and replay capabilities across distributed systems.
- Manage containerised deployments, CI/CD pipelines, image repositories, and infrastructure across cloud and on-premise environments.
- Collaborate with brokers, administrators, operations teams, and trading desks across multiple international time zones.
- Contribute to the development of a consolidated, reliable trade-data architecture.
