This client is investing in modern platforms, improved business intelligence capabilities, and stronger project delivery practices to enhance operational efficiency and decision-making across the organisation.
Therefore they are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead several high-profile initiatives while helping establish scalable project management standards and governance across the business.
Your initial focus will be leading three key transformation programs:
- Implementation of a new enterprise Data Warehouse and reporting platform
- Selection and implementation of a new ERP solution
- Enhancement of internal project management frameworks, governance, methodologies, and best practices
You will play a critical role in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned to business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of multiple technology projects and programs
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, risk registers, and status reporting
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including technology, vendor resources, operations, finance, and executive stakeholders
- Manage project scope, dependencies, issues, risks, and change requests
- Ensure projects achieve defined business outcomes and benefits
- Oversee solution design, testing, data migration, training, and go-live activities
- Drive adoption and change management initiatives across the organisation
- Rolling out Project Management best practice; develop project management standards, templates, reporting, and documentation
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external technology partners and implementation vendors
- Manage vendor performance against contractual commitments, milestones, budgets, and SLAs
- Provide clear and concise reporting to senior leadership and executive stakeholders
Essential Experience
- 5+ years' experience delivering IT and business transformation projects
- Proven experience implementing enterprise platforms such as ERP, CRM, Data Warehouse, or Business Intelligence solutions
- Strong project planning, governance, budgeting, and risk management skills.
- Demonstrated experience managing third-party vendors and system integrators.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
- Experience within an SME or mid-sized organisation
- Formal project management certification (PRINCE2, PMP, Agile, Scrum, or equivalent)
- Experience establishing or improving PM capabilities and delivery frameworks
This role will start as a 24 month fixed term contract and be 3 days in office.
The office is not near public transport, so applicants must own their own vehicle.
