Reporting to the People & Culture Manager, you will provide operational HR support across a broad range of human resources functions including:
- End-to-end recruitment and onboarding
- Drafting employment contracts, variations and correspondence
- Providing first-line HR advice to managers and employees
- Supporting employee relations matters and performance management processes
- Assisting with policy and procedure reviews
- Maintaining employee records and HR systems
- Coordinating training, inductions and compliance requirements
- Preparing HR reports and workforce data
- Supporting HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
- Previous experience in a HR Officer, HR Administrator or People & Culture role
- Sound knowledge of employment legislation, awards and HR best practice
- Experience supporting recruitment and onboarding activities
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- High attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
- Experience using HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Relevant qualifications in Human Resources or working towards completion
