About the role:



A unique opportunity to transition from audit delivery into a national technology role, helping shape the future of audit through innovation, automation, AI, and emerging technologies. This role is ideal for experienced auditors who enjoy technology, problem-solving, and innovation, and are looking to build a career at the intersection of audit and technology




Responsibilities:

• Drive the identification, evaluation, and adoption of AI, automation, and emerging audit technologies to enhance audit quality, efficiency, and innovation across the division.


• Provide ongoing support, maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimisation of audit technology solutions, liaising with internal teams and external vendors to ensure reliable performance.


• Assist with the planning, development, testing, deployment, and rollout of digital audit tools and automation solutions, while gathering user feedback to drive continuous improvement.


• Deliver training, documentation, user support, and change management initiatives to build capability, encourage adoption, and promote best-practice use of audit technologies.


• Support audit teams with data extraction, transformation, analysis, and governance activities, ensuring compliance with firm policies while collaborating across teams to implement innovative solutions.

About you:



EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

• Relevant Tertiary qualification in Accounting

DEMONSTRATED EXPERIENCE & ATTRIBUTES:

• 3+ years audit experience;


• Strong communication skills both written and verbal.;


• Strong attention to detail;


• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team;


• Demonstrate problem solving and decision-making skills; and


• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to establish effective working relationships.
