Position Summary

The role will be responsible for building & maintaining the Brazilian asset back securities & related content coverage in our database and maintaining on-going reference data changes working with market sources and supporting client engagements (pre & post sales).

Fluency in English and Portuguese (local dialect) language is needed given the extensive market contacts interactions needed in the set-up phase and on-going relationship management. The candidate will collect and analyze market data, perform quality control checks, and run daily operational procedures, responsible for client challenges and refine/adapt the work procedure of Brazilian market.

Main Responsibilities:

• Understand in-depth CMO database & workflow of Brazilian market requirements and refine & adapt the work procedure of Brazilian market
• Responsible for monitoring the new issue market, collecting and entering data and assisting with assigned projects based on client requirements.
• Build and maintain relations with local data sources, regulator and other market players and focus on influencing the data sources and stay persistent in their ask from certain market players
• Manage client queries
• Support Account Management/Sales Team with data/ market expertise during client visits and engagements (pre and post sales)
• Contribute towards and propose practical automation ideas focusing on effectiveness and customer experience
• Able to work independently and collaborate with others
• Detail-oriented individual who can meet deadlines and objectives
• Strong quantitative, analytical, and spreadsheet skills, with a focus on Microsoft Excel
• Must be self-motivated and have the ability to learn quickly and operate under tight time constraints
• Ability to communicate professionally and effectively both face to face and via telephone/email
• Ability to review large data sets and form clear, consistent feedback

Qualification

• Bachelor or master's degree and specialization in finance / capital market or equivalent

Required Skills

• Fluent in English and Portuguese
• Certification in finance / capital market or equivalent
• Intermediate understanding of the Brazil financial market and learning agility to understand the nuances of the market
• Strong communication, relationship management, networking and influencing skills needed to build and maintain relations with local data sources, regulator and other market players
