Key Responsibilities:
- Elicit, document, and validate business requirements related to IFRS regulatory reporting.
- Translate regulatory requirements into functional specifications for technical teams.
- Design and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts (functional, regression, UAT).
- Perform data validation and reconciliation to ensure accuracy of IFRS outputs.
- Collaborate with actuarial, finance, IT, and compliance teams.
- Identify, log, and track defects through to resolution.
- Support UAT and post-implementation validation.
- Produce clear documentation, reports, and status updates for stakeholders.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst and/or QA Analyst in insurance or financial services.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS (IFRS 17 / IFRS 9 highly preferred).
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, macros, complex formulas, data modeling).
- Demonstrated ability to work under tight timelines and high pressure.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience with test management and defect tracking tools.
- Experience with regulatory reporting tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, SAS).
- SQL knowledge.
- Agile/Scrum experience.
- Professional certifications (CBAP, ISTQB, etc.).
