My client, a leading investment bank with global presence, is actively seeking a talented and experienced C# Developer to join their equities technology arm. As a C# Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining software applications that support the middle office operations of their organization. Your primary focus will be on designing, coding, and testing C# applications, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

The role:

1. Develop and maintain C# applications to support the middle office operations, including trade processing, risk management, and compliance.
2. Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
3. Design and implement software solutions that meet the functional and non-functional requirements of the middle office systems.
4. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using C# and other relevant technologies.
5. Conduct unit testing and debugging to ensure the quality and reliability of the developed software.
6. Participate in code reviews to provide constructive feedback and ensure adherence to coding standards.
7. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including front office developers, operations staff, and QA engineers, to deliver integrated solutions.
8. Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and production issues in a timely manner.
9. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in C# development and financial markets technology.
10. Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and practices.

What you offer:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
2. Minimum 3+ years of experience of developing commercial applications in C# and .NET framework.
3. Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
4. Experience in developing middle office applications or financial systems is highly desirable.
5. Hands-on experience developing Excel, VBA and front office experience also highly desirable.
6. Proficiency in SQL and database design concepts.
7. Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
