Client Profile: Accountancy Practice, Sligo



Our client is a high-profile accountancy practice based in Sligo. As a medium firm, they support small and medium sized clients, professional services firms and high net worth individuals. They provide each client with support on accounts preparation, taxation, and general business advice. Position: Part-Qualified Accountant



Due to expansion within their business, they wish to add a Part-Qualified Accountant to their team. Reporting to the Partners, the role will involve in providing the firm's clients support on a range of activities including:

• Handling year-end accounts preparation assignments to review stage


• Personal and corporate tax returns


• Small company audit


• Management accounts


• Assisting partners on consultancy and project assignments

The role is challenging and the existing Partners are keen to recruit a candidate who can contribute to the development of their firm.




Candidate Profile



Ideal candidate should have at least a year's experience within an accountancy practice and a focus on developing a long term career in practice. Client will consider a Qualified Accounting Technician who wants to pursue an accountancy qualification.



Additionally, they should be able to prepare year-end accounts to Partner review stage and be capable of working on their own initiative. In addition to an excellent remuneration, the role offers excellent "upward" career development opportunities.
