Key Responsibilities

• Manage Japanese Equity Finance trading activities within the Prime Services business.
• Provide equity financing solutions to APAC financial institutions and institutional clients.
• Execute and manage equity finance transactions while optimizing trading performance and risk.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with institutional clients, internal sales teams, and global trading desks.
• Monitor market trends, financing opportunities, and liquidity conditions to support trading strategies.
• Collaborate with Risk, Operations, Compliance, and Technology teams to ensure efficient trade execution and regulatory compliance.
• Identify new business opportunities and contribute to the continued growth of the Prime Services platform.
• Deliver market insights and trading updates to senior stakeholders and clients.

Required Skills and Qualifications Experience:

• 7+ years of experience as a Prime Services Equity Finance Trader within an investment bank in Japan.
• Proven experience trading Japanese Equities and managing equity financing products.
• Strong understanding of Prime Services, securities financing, and equity markets.
• Experience covering institutional or financial institution clients across APAC.
• Demonstrated ability to manage trading risk and execute complex financing transactions.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
