Freeths' highly rated and award-winning Real Estate team comprises over 150 lawyers operating across 12 UK locations. The team advises on the full spectrum of commercial real estate matters, with particular strength in complex landlord and tenant matters, investment transactions, property finance and estate and portfolio management.



Our Leicester Real Estate department, led by Partner
Sam Pancholi , is a key part of this national group and covers every aspect of real estate work, including commercial development, residential land sales, investment, asset management, property finance, and regeneration projects, as well as sector-focused work such as retail and care. Our Leicester team currently has 10 lawyers and is a busy, driven and high performing team with high quality clients and work. It is on a growth trajectory, and this is an exciting opportunity to play a role in that growth.




About the role



Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit an
Associate/Senior Associate with 1 - 5 years PQE and strong commercial real estate experience and a particular interest in landlord and tenant matters, investment transactions, property finance and estate management work.



The role will involve advising clients on a broad range of matters, including acquisitions and disposals, investment transactions, landlord and tenant matters, portfolio management, refinancing projects and general commercial property matters. The successful candidate will work with a diverse client base ranging from private investors and owner-managed businesses through to national corporate organisations. This role will also provide opportunities to support on corporate transactions and strategically important property projects.
