Key Responsibilities
- Support the execution of mergers and acquisitions (M&A) transactions for domestic and international clients.
- Collaborate with senior bankers and cross-functional teams on debt and equity financing projects.
- Prepare financial models, valuation analyses, pitch books, and client presentation materials.
- Conduct market, industry, and company research to support transaction execution and strategic recommendations.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and clients throughout the deal lifecycle.
- Minimum 1 year of corporate finance experience within an Investment Bank, Corporate Bank, or Strategic Consulting firm in Japan.
- Suitable for junior professionals with up to 5 years of total work experience.
- Strong analytical and financial modelling capabilities with an understanding of capital markets and corporate finance.
- Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Japanese: Native proficiency (written and spoken).
- English: Business-level proficiency.
- Experience supporting cross-border M&A or capital markets transactions.
- Knowledge of financial statement analysis and company valuation methodologies.
- Demonstrated interest in investment banking and capital markets.
